Eras come to an end and a new chapter begins
The USS Celt will undergo its most significant changes this month since commissioning: the CO will retire, and the crew will get a new vessel.
Timeline
February 14, 1992 - On his 20th birthday, Chris Dunivan joins STARFLEET as founding XO of the Marko Ramius.
March 17, 1998 - The Shuttle Celt is launched with Capt. Chris Dunivan as CO and Capt. Ray Brown as XO.
March 17, 1999 - The USS Celt is commissioned as a Sovereign-class cruiser, NCC-75018.
February 14, 2007 - As he turns 35, Comm. Dunivan sits, for the first time, in the center seat on the bridge set of the Enterprise - D, his brother by his side, at the Star Trek Experience in Las Vegas. 15 years after joining STARFLEET, he retires. Having seen just under 9 years of service, the USS Celt is mothballed.
The XO, Capt. Carmen Schultz, now CO of her first command, leads the crew aboard their new home, the Intrepid-class USS Dragon!
Capt. Schultz can now be reached at bumblybe@cox.net.
